2/16/2010- Group Life Insurance Re-Enrollment Deadline
We are pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2010, Individual Assurance Company (IAC) is once again the Carrier for Government Group Life Insurance coverage to all employees and retirees of the CNMI Government enrolled in the life insurance program. Therefore, due to the change in Carriers, re-enrollment for life insurance coverage is requested and all eligible CNMI Government employees and retirees must be re-enrolled by February 26, 2010. New Members and/or changes to current election(s) will require evidence of insurability.
The IAC will be conducting re-enrollment sessions which will be an opportunity for Members to confirm or change their current insurance election(s) and beneficiary designations. These sessions will begin on February 16, 2010 at the office of Donald C. Barcinas, First Floor Cabrera Center, Suite 106, Beach Road, Garapan, Saipan. Active CNMI Government employees may re-enroll through their respective Human Resources Office.

12/28/2009- Netcare/Moylan’s Life Insurance Termination – Second Notice
Please be advised that Netcare Health and Life Insurance (Moylan’s) terminated its contract to provide Life Insurance Coverage for employees of the CNMI Government and Retirees effective December 15, 2009.
The Northern Mariana Island Retirement Fund (“Fund”) and Board of Trustees would like to assure all members of the Fund who have basic life insurance coverage that we have issued an Emergency RFP for a new Life Insurance Carrier, and anticipate awarding the contract to a new carrier in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, please direct any claims inquiry to the Group Health Life Insurance Program (“GHLIP”).
